SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING
Jasná – The Low Tatras, as the largest ski arena with excellent conditions for winter sports in Slovakia, offers endless possibilities for activities, entertainment and active relaxation. In winter, skiing enthusiasts can "have fun" on the northern and southern sides of Chopok. The resort offers 45 km of perfectly groomed slopes of various difficulties, suitable for beginners, families with children, advanced skiers and also for organizing world-class competitions. A modern snowmaking system with a length of almost 27 km guarantees snow for at least 5 months a year. Lovers of wild rides will find their place in the many freeride zones and in the great snow park. In the evening, skiing is possible on two illuminated slopes in Jasná. The winter season usually lasts from the beginning of December to the end of April. There are 29 cable cars and ski lifts on Chopok with a transport capacity of more than 30,000 people per hour.

Liptovský Ján – a family-type resort with its own ski school and ski kindergarten. Clients also have a rental shop at the resort, whether it's ski or snowboard equipment, as well as a service. Both complete beginners and experienced skiers will find their place here.

Opalisko – five artificially snowed slopes, four lifts and a chairlift provide sufficient comfort without long waiting in lines. There is a children's area for the youngest, a toboggan run, a natural ice rink. The resort also has a cross-country skiing area with lighting with a total length of 30 km of cross-country trails. They organize night skiing and many other interesting sports events.

SKI Žiarce – currently offers skiing on 3 downhill slopes with a total length of 1130 m. 2 ski lifts are in operation every year, while 1 rope lift is located in the children's ski kindergarten. The youngest visitors to the resort learn to ski in the ski kindergarten and gradually improve their skiing skills on the main slope. Experienced skiers can go all the way to the top of the hill, where they can enjoy a beautiful view and more challenging skiing.

RELAX IN THERMAL SPAS
Welness in the nearby hotel Družba offers its guests and, if available, visitors a hotel wellness with a complex of saunas, whirlpools and a small swimming pool.

Liptovský Ján, a popular and sought-after place for rest, relaxation and recovery, especially for the beneficial effects of the thermal water, which comes from the Rudolf thermal spring. In 1963, the Rudolf spring was drilled at a depth of 95 m with a temperature of 29.4°C and its water and water from other nearby wells are used in the pools of the summer thermal swimming pool in Liptovský Ján. The water from the Rudolf thermal spring is mineralized and acidic, according to the gas content it is strongly carbonated and moderately hydrogen sulfide. Regular stay in the water induces natural relaxation of the body and promotes good sleep.

Geothermal springs with a temperature of 60.5°C spring from a depth of 1987 meters and the water in the outdoor pools reaches a temperature of 26-39 °C.
